Phi Phi - 16th September

After a night of CONSTANT rain we ventured out and got a longboat (to ourselves) around the coast to Long Beach. After a few more showers it cleared up so we ventured into the water which was extremely rocky so not so enjoyable. Had a pub crawl along the three bars on the beach before coming back again. Have just had a lovely indian curry cos as we leave this busy tourist island the day after tomorrow we know we won't see such a thing for a while again!

    My turn now (Sheila. Niall baked appled crumble with mum today so smells wafting around the house are devine. Johnnie was on U14 Valley Rovers football team last week and beat Mallow in the County Premier final. BIG deal as Valleys never won it before. Weather lovely for past 10 days or so, sun, blue sky and no rain so kind of making up for the wash out summer for as long as it lasts. Got mega deal for a night in the Clarion hotel Cork to celebrate Denis birthday and our anniversary. Staying there first Sunday in October, B&B, 3 course meal, 100 euro for everything. That probably sounds like robbery from where you're sitting but it's a steal. And yes I did say Cork! Mum will be minding the kids on Sunday and getting them off to school on the Monday morning while i have a lie in a few mile in the road!! Can't wait. X Sheila

    Sounds as though you are having a great time. Where are you off to next? Hope your accomodation is as good in the other places you visit. Always drive a hard bargain with the locals, they love bargaining.

    Words of advice - avoid ping pongs and woman who will love u long time 4 5 dollar! Seriously though, enjoy every moment, every experience, and live like its your last day on earth. You both look v happy and its great 2 see!

    It has been great following your travels on the blog feels like we are on the journey with you great to hear you are having a wonderful time mum and monique off to isle of wight this weekend to see billy and karen john kelly off to dublin to watch the all ireland final come on cork thats all for now lots of love to you both mum and dad
